• As originally printed in Weekly Shonen Jump, every page of this chapter was colored—the Color Spread and first two "story" pages in full color, and the remaining sixteen pages in red-and-gray "part" color. This gave it—prior to the Digitally Colored Manga—the most color content of any chapter.
  • In addition, the Color Spread's original Jump printing ran three pages (with Nami's section being a fold-out linked to Luffy's). In all tankōbon reprints, it is turned vertically and resized to fit one page; in Color Walk 1, it is kept horizontal, but still resized to fit two pages.
  • In the Jump release, the background of Zoro's close-up was green, and Nami's was pink. In the Digitally Colored Manga and the Color Walk, both backgrounds are dark blue. On all versions (except the tankōbon) the background of Luffy's close-up is blue.
