Album Information:
The original soundtrack CD for Film Z was released on December 12th, 2012, shortly before the the film was released. As with previous movie soundtracks, Kōhei Tanaka and Shirō Hamaguchi composed and arranged much of the score, each overseeing about half of the album. Unlike previous movies, the ending credits feature two cover songs in english performed by Avril Lavigne and specifically recorded for the movies release.
The album also features an original song, Ocean Guide, performed by Kazuhiko Sawaguchi and the Deep Sea Choir that is recognized as the movie's theme and is 'sung' by Z and the Marines at multiple points during the film.
