One Piece: Grand Battle! 3 is a Japanese fighting game and the third of the Grand Battle Series to be released for the Sony Playstation console as well as the Nintendo Gamecube. It is a direct sequel to the second Grand Battle! game and continues the story further into the Skypiea Arc. The game features fewer characters and stages but boasts its use of fully 3D characters compared to its predecessors 2.5D models. Likewise to its predecessors, it sparked many events for tournaments in Japan and was considered succesful in its release.
It was developed by Ganbarion, published by Bandai Namco, and was released on December 11th, 2003. The game sold 152,840 copies in its first week and totaled 476,602 copies sold over it's lifetime.[1]
